Accounts Payable Officer (Sunshine Coast)

Immediate start, Accounts Payable Officer, full-time hours, apply now! Your new company Our client is a reputable organisation within the civil construction sector, well regarded within their field. Due to continued demand, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to support their busy operations team. Your new role Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely within a small, collaborative team, you will be responsible for high-volume accounts payable and administrative support. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and coding 40–80 invoices per day
- High-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
- Matching purchase orders and dockets to invoices
- Reconciling monthly supplier statements
- Managing supplier invoices and AP inbox enquiries
- Following up outstanding dockets, invoices, and credits
- Processing invoice adjustments
- Scanning, filing, and maintaining documentation
- Handling incoming calls and responding to accounts payable queries
- You will utilise a specialised internal system, alongside MYOB, to support accounts processing. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills when dealing with suppliers
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-ups Confidence working with systems and learning new software
