Let’s make a meaningful difference, together!Your part in our Buderim Hospital teamAs part of our Food Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service delivery to all customers including patients, staff and visitors. You will be responsible for basic meal preparation, portioning and serving of hot and cold meals, meal delivery and distribution, and cleaning. In addition to this you will: Assist with the timely assembly, delivery and collection of meals to patients and work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure all patients with special dietary requirements/changes are addressed and met* Act as quality control to ensure all meals are presented to a high standard and are appropriate for each patient, escalating issues where required* Ensure a high standard of hygiene and safety throughout the food services department that complies with the hospital food safety program* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles in accordance with the hospital’s food safety programWhat makes a difference for us? - mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends* Previous experience in a food service or hospitality team environment, preferably within the Healthcare industry. Demonstrated understanding and competencies in manual handling training, chemical use, hand hygiene and food safety Ability to work well in a team and support a positive team environment* Basic numeracy, literacy, verbal communication and interpersonal skills including ability to read, measure accurately and perform basic math skills* Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessmentWhat makes a difference for you?
