Overview Permanent part‑time role available across Westpac’s Maroochydore branch. Genuine opportunity to begin a long‑lasting career. Maintain a perfect work / life balance in this part‑time role. Hours: 22.5 hours per week 8.30am – 4.30pm Mon, Tue and Fri. As a teller, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our branch and will work to create a welcoming and supportive experience from the moment they walk in. You will engage in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs, utilising your knowledge of Westpac’s financial products and services to support their holistic banking needs. Responsibilities
- Assist customers with banking transactions including cash deposits and withdrawals
- Maintain accurate cash handling and ensure end‑of‑day balancing
- Educate customers on digital platforms such as online banking and our award‑winning mobile app
- Identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing through tailored solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience: ideally in a customer‑facing role
- Numerical Skills: proficiency in handling cash and an ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy
- Personality: an energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people
- Resilience: ability to remain calm and composed whilst handling challenging situations
- Adaptability: a will to learn and adapt to recent banking procedures and technologies
- Banking experience not required; comprehensive training will be provided Benefits
