Accountant (Sunshine Coast Regional)

This role is practical, fast-paced and designed for someone who wants real business impact. From day one, you’ll be delivering month-end close activities and financial insights, working closely with the Finance team, operational stakeholders and auditors in a collaborative environment. What you’ll be doing
- Completing monthly close processes including journals, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Analysing income statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Preparing and supporting indirect tax obligations including BAS, FBT and insurance-related returns
- Strengthening and documenting financial processes, controls and governance practices
- Coaching and supporting Assistant Accountants What great looks like
- CPA/CA qualified with solid experience in financial accounting
- Strong technical skills across general ledger, tax compliance and financial reporting
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify risks and improvements
- Ability to manage deadlines, complexity and large volumes of financial data
