We’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of electrical, instrumentation and control systems across Unitywater’s BBT Program across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton regions. This full‑time role will see you working closely with project teams, designers, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure high‑quality electrical engineering outcomes across multiple water and wastewater treatment facilities. You’ll play a key part in design development, technical assurance, tendering, delivery and commissioning activities, helping ensure each assetis safe, compliant and built to perform.The BBT Program involves significant upgrades to Unitywater’s treatment plant network, including process improvements, electrical and control system modernisation, and integration of new infrastructure into existing operational environments. Your expertise will help guide the technical direction of these works, ensuring robust engineering governance and alignment with relevant standards and safety requirements.What You’ll Bring to the Team
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), with eligibility for RPEQ, CPEng or Engineers Australia membership highly regarded. 5+ years’ experience delivering electrical engineering outcomes within the water and wastewater sector (preferred) or complex industrial/process environments.Demonstrated technical leadership in the design, delivery and commissioning of LV and ELV systems, PLC/SCADA, and Instrumentation&Control systems. Strong experience preparing and managing tender documentation, including Scopes of Work, technical specifications, drawings, schedules and evaluation reports. Capability in reviewing, assuring and approving complex electrical design documentation such as diagrams, protection studies, control philosophies and commissioning documentation.Proven ability to provide engineering governance and ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications and safety requirements across the full project lifecycle. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and client representatives.Why You Should Work With Us
