Casual Forklift Operator/Parcel Sorter (Sunshine Coast Regional)

Forklift Operator/Parcel Sorter Border Express is currently recruiting an experienced &motivated; forklift operator/parcel sorter for our new Sunshine Coast branch at Corbould Park. Shift Times
- AM shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday–Friday (hours approximate) Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, move, restrain and store freight on trucks and linehaul vehicles.
- Sort and organize freight into designated delivery bays while maintaining safety and operational standards.
- Check load restraint, packaging and condition of freight before it travels.
- Report any damages to freight or forklift immediately to supervisor.
- Complete and verify pallet and dangerous goods paperwork, ensuring no compatibility issues.
- Monitor and achieve Delivered In Full On Time (DIFOT) targets while sustaining a safe workplace. Qualifications and Experience
- Valid forklift licence (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation with linehaul loading experience (advantageous).
- Experience in the transport industry.
- Ability to adhere to WHS and safety regulations.
- Excellent attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
- Physical fitness to perform repetitive lifting.
- Local knowledge of the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
