Description
We’re looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure Services team, delivering critical civil works under the RAMC GEN3 contract on the Sunshine Coast. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer ready to take end‑to‑end ownership of planning, commercial performance, and delivery across multiple work packages within a long‑term maintenance environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while building strong client and stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of asphalt, civil maintenance, and rehabilitation projects from planning through to completion.
- Experience with project planning, programming, forecasting, and cost control to ensure commercial targets are achieved.
- Managing procurement activities, subcontractor engagement, and performance.
- Driving programme outcomes and maintaining a strong focus on delivery performance and productivity.
- Ensuring all works comply with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintaining effective client relationships, including contributing to reporting, monthly payment claims, and variations.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and systems. Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Project Engineer or similar role, ideally within road or civil infrastructure.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in cost control, forecasting, and contract administration.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and work fronts simultaneously.
- Well‑developed communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working on TMR or road infrastructure projects (highly regarded).
- Play a key role in delivering a major, long‑term road maintenance contract on the Sunshine Coast.
