Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) Based in Maroochydore, our Sunshine Coast office is deeply connected to councils and clients across South East Queensland. The team works on projects spanning transport, tourism, residential and commercial towers, supporting rapid regional growth. About the Role We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Sunshine Coast . Reporting to the Associate Director, this is a pivotal role focused on planning, managing, and delivering a diverse range of complex civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring successful project outcomes by managing quality, costs, and schedules to consistently exceed client expectations. This includes overseeing and reviewing project planning and detailed design, delivering work to a high standard, and ensuring solutions are both innovative and commercially sound. What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of demonstrated civil design experience, ideally within local and state government projects
- Strong problem‑solving ability and critical thinking capability
- Experience managing the production and review of detailed engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of construction methods and their influence on design
- Sound understanding of design and commercial risk
- Experience preparing clear and concise Business Cases, Planning Reports, and Design Development Reports
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to foster strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Proven ability to mentor and support a team, promoting capability growth and design excellence What’s in it for You?
