Caretaker / Groundsman (Casual) We are seeking a casual employee to undertake early morning caretaking/groundsman duties at our apartment complex. Cilento management provides services to permanent residents, non-resident unit holders and holiday guests. Cilento Mooloolaba is looking for an experienced apartment complex caretaker for immediate start. $30 – $35 per hour casual rate. Paid under the Hospitality award. Mooloolaba – Sunshine Coast. The job on offer is for an early morning experienced caretaker who can work flexible days, 3 to 4 days per week including some weekend work, 3 hours per day working to a set routine and be a self-starter. General approach and duties
- Always behave in a qualified and courteous manner and respect residents and guest’s privacy.
- Pay attention to detail
- Be open, honest and diligent in the carrying out of your duties.
- Communicate regularly with the manager to give feedback on the state of the complex and the general state of repair of the building.
- Cleaning of the general area of the building in particular lift lobby area, pool, car park and the entrances to the commercial tenancies in front of the shops.
- Daily pool inspection, testing and maintenance.
- Manage the complex’s garbage and recyclables.
- Mop and clean the restroom facilities, reception and lift lobby area.
- General daily inspection of the facility and reporting of any maintenance issues The Successful Candidate
- We are looking for a person with a demonstrated long-term view of your current position. Applicants should be able to demonstrate that their manner is pleasant and confident and that they have the relevant experience.
- We are seeking a person with an unrestricted employment right in Australia and with the ability to commit long-term to the role.
- That you are available for an immediate start.
- Have relevant experience of at least 1 year in a similar role.
