Water and Wastewater Divisional Manager Hybrid role based in Southeast Queensland, reporting directly to the Managing Director – Australia. Key Responsibilities 1. Division Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute a Water & Wastewater divisional growth strategy aligned with the Australian infrastructure business plan;
- Identify and pursue opportunities in municipal and industrial water, wastewater and associated infrastructure sectors e.g. roads;
- Contribute to overall Infrastructure Division strategy alongside the Managing Director;
- Establish the division as a recognised and competitive player in the Australian market. 2. Business Development & Client Engagement
- Lead marketing, networking and client engagement initiatives across public and private sectors;
- Secure new work through both competitive tenders and relationship‑driven opportunities;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, municipalities and industrial clients;
- Identify and pursue partnership and collaboration opportunities to enhance market reach. 3. Project Delivery & Operational Management
- Oversee the execution of all Water & Wastewater projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to required quality standards;
- Ensure compliance with Bosch Projects’ Quality Management System and project governance frameworks;
- Manage project risks, commercial performance and contractual obligations;
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies and technical standards;
- Manage and coordinate all financial aspects of divisional projects, including invoicing, forecasting and debtor control. 4. Resource & Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing Water & Wastewater team;
- Manage recruitment, skills development and succession planning;
- Optimise resource utilisation across projects and collaborate with other divisions/regions where required;
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and technical excellence. 5. Cross-Divisional Collaboration
- Coordinate with other Bosch Projects divisions (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical, sugar and industrial) and regions to deliver multidisciplinary projects;
- Promote synergy across the Bosch Holdings group to maximise value and capability. Key Requirements 1. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent);
- Be registered as a professional engineer (RPEQ). 2. Experience
- Minimum 12–15 years’ experience in engineering with a strong focus on municipal infrastructure;
- At least 5 years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects in Australia;
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role;
- Demonstrated success in business development and securing projects;
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects. 3. Skills & Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of the 12d design package;
- Positive understanding of Australian standards and regulatory frameworks;
- Strong commercial and financial acumen;
- Excellent leadership and team development capability;
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on delivery mindset;
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills;
- In‑depth understanding of water and wastewater systems, including conveyance and associated infrastructure. 4. General
