Brisbane or Toowoomba | Fully Flexible Working Arrangements A highly respected and growing engineering consultancy is seeking experienced engineers to join its expanding team as it continues to secure significant project work throughout the Toowoomba region. With a strong pipeline of projects and increasing demand across the Darling Downs, the business is looking to appoint: Structural Engineer You will work across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial projects, taking ownership of projects from design through to delivery. Responsibilities
- Design and review structural systems across:
- Steel
- Timber
- Tilt‑up construction
- Deliver projects from concept through to construction
- Liaise with clients, architects, builders and consultants
- Review drawings, calculations and technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Contribute to technical excellence and project delivery About you
- 5+ years’ structural engineering experience
- Strong Australian project experience
- Ability to manage projects autonomously
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC
- Experience with structural software such as SpaceGass, RAM Concept, RAPT, Inducta or similar
- RPEQ desirable but not essential Senior Civil Engineer – Urban Development & Subdivisions The consultancy is also seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to play a key role in delivering subdivision and urban development projects across the Toowoomba region. The Role This position will focus on urban development projects from planning and approvals through to construction delivery. Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering projects from concept through to construction
- Manage subdivision and urban development projects
- Coordinate approvals and stakeholder engagement
- Attend client and construction meetings
- Liaise with councils, consultants and contractors
- Mentor junior engineers and support project teams
- Drive project outcomes and maintain strong client relationships About you
- 8+ years’ civil engineering experience
- Strong urban development and subdivision experience
- Strong client management and communication skills
