Marketing Assistant (Matraville)

Medi-Rent is a growing healthcare company specialising in medical equipment, clinician education and patient support solutions across rehabilitation, compression therapy and maternity care. We are seeking an organised and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and events team across conferences, digital platforms and day-to-day marketing activities. This varied role will suit someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and an interest in healthcare marketing, events and social media. The successful applicant will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to support educational events, marketing administration, website updates and social media activity across multiple brands throughout Australia and New Zealand. The role is anticipated to be 3 days/week, 8 hrs/day, with flexibility which days are preferred by the candidate. The pay rate listed above is the full-time equivalent. Key Responsibilities
· Support the Marketing Manager in delivery of the following marketing initiatives: Event Coordination & Logistics
- Coordinate logistics relating to Medi-Rent’s attendance at conferences, workshops and educational events
- Assist with sales team calendar coordination for conferences and related activities
- Organise client networking events including dinners, cocktail functions and venue bookings across Australia and Recent Zealand
- Prepare event packing lists and coordinate the organisation of display materials, promotional items and demonstration equipment for trade shows and smaller events Collateral & Marketing Administration
- Coordinate printing and distribution of marketing collateral across multiple warehouse locations
- Undertake in-house printing of day-to-day materials including referral sheets, forms and flyers
- Assist the sales team with preparation and packing of promotional folders and educational resources for clients
- Maintain marketing lead lists and update CRM/database systems as required Website & Digital Support
- Assist with website content updates and maintenance across multiple online platforms
- Support implementation of basic SEO improvements and content accuracy updates Social Media Support
- Assist with preparation and scheduling of social media content relating to events and education activities
- Support content posting across Facebook and Instagram for Medi-Rent’s core brands including:
- Medi-Rent
- Cryon-X
- mybreastpump.com.au
- Ardo Australia Drivers licence with access to car preferred, given location of office in Matraville
