We have an exciting opportunity for an **Operational Account Manager**to join our team located in Sydney.

**Key responsibilities**
- Account Management & Customer Relations
- Act as the operational point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions
- Manage escalations, service failures, and corrective actions with transparency and accountability
- Conduct regular business reviews, presenting performance metrics, service updates, and improvement opportunities
- Oversee the end-to-end coordination of freight forwarding services (air, ocean, road, brokerage, and warehousing)
- Ensure timely execution of bookings, customs declarations, ETD/ETA updates, and documentation accuracy
- Partner with internal teams (customer service, transport, warehouse, customs brokerage) to resolve delays, space/equipment issues, or routing changes
- Monitor KPIs including on-time performance, cost control, and compliance with SOPs
- Track, analyse, and report operational performance for assigned accounts
- Identify gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
- Manage customer-specific SOPs, ensuring updates are communicated and adhered to
- Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to design tailored solutions and support growth opportunities
- Ensure operations comply with all GEODIS policies, customer requirements, and international trade regulations
- Maintain accurate records within CargoWise and internal reporting platforms
- Support audits, risk management, and corrective action plans

**Skills and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or account management, preferably with technology or high-value clients.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency with logistics management systems, MS Office, and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of supply chain or consumer electronics logistics is an advantage
- High Proficiency in English language
