Mixing Assistant (Marrickville)

**Working Hours**: AM Shift : 6.30AM to 2.30PM Flexible hours required

**Job Summary**: We are looking for a strong, reliable Mixing Assistant in the food or beverage industry to join our juice production team. This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong work ethic. The Mixing Assistant supports the accurate preparation and blending of juice ingredients, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in accurately weighing, measuring, and preparing ingredients based on production recipes.
- Load raw materials into mixers, tanks, or blending equipment.
- Work closely with the Mixing Operator to monitor batches and ensure consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and work areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Ensure proper labelling, storage, and traceability of mixed batches.
- Keep accurate records of batch numbers, ingredients used, and cleaning logs.
- Follow all company policies related to health, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Support inventory tracking and notify supervisors of low or expired stock.
- Maintain a steady work pace while lifting, moving, and handling heavy containers (up to 25KG).
- Take initiative to assist team members and help improve overall production flow.
- Monthly stocktake.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing environment but not essential, training will be provided.
- Physically strong and able to handle manual labour tasks consistently.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of performance.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
- Willing to work flexible hours

**Preferred Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of general food safety practices.
- Solid teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
