Pre-press Operator/client Services (Marrickville)

We are a Digital Fabric Wholesale Print house in Marrickville, and we are looking for a prepress/client services operator.

Blueprint Digital is a second generation, family owned digital fabric printer. We print soft signage up to 3.2m wide, which is where we print amazing graphics onto fabrics that get sewn in house for many of the largest brands in Australia. Turnarounds are fast, 24-48 hours, no two days are the same.

We have a small team of 12, with our team working collaboratively but autonomously to achieve our dispatch targets. We talk loud, we work hard, we multitask, drink coffee and get our stuff done as quickly as possible.

The role is a dual role of some pre-press duties and some client services.

Duties and Responsibilities: Pre-Press
- Make sure the artwork matches the job description.
- Make minor adjustments to the artwork or artwork name where required.
- Process the artwork through our automated pre-press software "Infocus Switch".
- Rip files using Onyx
- Communicate with production and operations

Client Services
- Internal Administration
- Convert Quotes into jobs bags
- Entering data into job bags
- Communicate with clients, updating them where required, such as lead times, connotes.
- Assisting the team by answering the doorbell, assisting walk in clients.

What we need is an enthusiastic, inquisitive, hands-on person who likes to be busy, who seeks out work and enjoys learning new skills. You’ll need to be fit, as it can be a little physical, and you’ll need to be able to multi-task.

Working here you’ll learn to operate some interesting software, and feel immensely satisfied when you see the graphics you printed hanging in the shops on the weekend. This is a full-time job, Monday to Friday. ASAP start.

Pay: $26.64
- $42.96 per hour

Expected hours: 38.5 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Annual bonus
