Disability Support Worker (Marrickville)

We are looking to hire a dedicated and compassionate disability support worker to join our NDIS care centre located in Rockdale, NSW.

This is full time Monday to Friday permanent role from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with manual handling, wheel chair personal care, such as daily hygiene and getting dressed etc.
- Helping with chores, such as cooking, laundry and cleaning.
- Taking clients grocery shopping.
- Transporting clients to medical appointments.
- Providing social support to clients and helping them engage in social activities.
- Providing emotional support and an open ear.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years or above experience is required for this role.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Valid Australian Driver's licence (own source of transport).
- Valid WWCC (working with children check).
- Valid NDIS Screening Check.
- Valid NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Covid-19 Vaccination Cert.
- Must have your own PPE.
