Senior Accountant (Maryborough)

Known locally for its personalised approach and genuine care for clients, the firm is experiencing exciting growth and is now looking for a Senior Accountant to step into a key role. THE ROLE: You will take ownership of business services and tax advisory responsibilities for a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries while providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members. Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Managing a varied client portfolio Reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types Providing strategic tax planning and business advisory services aligned with clients Preparation and review of complex tax matters including Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations Acting as the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, building trusted long-term relationships Identifying advisory opportunities and contributing to the growth of the firm through client referrals and cross service opportunities Supporting workflow management and assisting partners with complex engagements and client strategy THE BENEFITS: Flexible working arrangements, including up to 2 days Work From Home (after probation) Adaptable start and finish times to support work-life balance Collaborative and close knit team culture with strong leadership support Modern Maryborough office location with convenient parking Defined career progression opportunities with tailored development planning CA/CPA study support ABOUT YOU: You will have 2+ years' experience within an Australian public practice firm and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, as client interaction and team support are key components of the role.
