Salesperson & Handover Specialist

Goldfields Campers & Caravans is looking for a motivated Salesperson & Handover Specialist to join our team in Maryborough, Victoria.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands camping, caravanning, touring, 4WD setups, battery systems, solar, and how customers actually use their vans on the road.

You will be helping customers choose the right camper, pod, hybrid, or caravan, then making sure they understand how to use it properly at handover.

About the role

Your duties will include:

Greeting customers in the showroom and yard

Selling campers, pods, hybrids, and caravans

Following up leads by phone and email

Preparing quotes and basic paperwork

Explaining model features, options, pricing, and inclusions

Completing customer handovers

Explaining 12V systems, lithium batteries, solar, inverters, fridges, water systems, hot water, awnings, hitches, and general operation

Helping organise customer pickups

Working with admin and workshop staff to make sure units are ready

Keeping display units presentable

Attending caravan and camping shows when required

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

Sales or customer service experience

A genuine understanding of camping and caravanning

Knowledge of 12V battery systems, lithium batteries, solar, and inverters

Confidence explaining technical features in easy terms

Good computer skills

Good attention to detail

A practical, hands-on attitude

Strong communication skills

A current driver’s licence

Availability to work five days per week, including some weekends

Experience in the caravan, camper, RV, trailer, 4WD, boating, or outdoor industry would be highly regarded.
