Store Manager (Maryborough)

About the role Join the dynamic team at Forty Winks as a Store Manager in our Maryborough, Queensland location. This is a full-time position that will see you leading a dedicated team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive the success of our retail store. As the face of the business, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the outlet. What you'll be doing 1. Manage and motivate a team of retail sales associates to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators 2. Oversee the effective merchandising, visual presentation and stock control of the store 3. Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive shopping setting for all customers 4. Implement strategies to drive sales, increase profitability and enhance the store's performance 5. Manage all administrative tasks including payroll, rostering, budgeting and reporting 6. Liaise with the regional and head office teams to align on business objectives and priorities 7. Identify and action opportunities for continuous improvement within store operations What we're looking for 1. 3-5 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably within the homeware or furniture industry 2. Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams 3. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse data to drive sales and profitability 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and stakeholders 5. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges 6.
