AO6 Project Manager
- Maryborough (WBB Region) State Government Position | $79.17/hr + super | Immediate Start | Temp contract to July 2026 We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (AO6) to join a State Government team based in Maryborough. This is a great opportunity to step into a senior role delivering impactful building and infrastructure projects across the region. About the role You’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of building projects from pre-design and planning through to construction and completion. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be working closely with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of building and infrastructure projects
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Oversee contract administration across various delivery models
- Monitor project performance across cost, time, and quality
- Lead stakeholder engagement and negotiations
- Identify and manage project risks and variances
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and governance processes About you
- Experience in project management within construction or infrastructure
- Relevant qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar (desirable)
