State Government Position | $79.17/hr + super | Immediate Start | Temp contract to July 2026

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (AO6) to join a State Government team based in Maryborough. This is a excellent prospect to step into a senior role delivering impactful building and infrastructure projects across the region.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of building projects from pre-design and planning through to construction and completion. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be working closely with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of building and infrastructure projects

Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams

Oversee contract administration across various delivery models

Monitor project performance across cost, time, and quality

Lead stakeholder engagement and negotiations

Identify and manage project risks and variances

Ensure compliance with quality assurance and governance processes

About you

Experience in project management within construction or infrastructure

Relevant qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar (desirable)

Current driver’s licence
