Pay: $29.88 base rate + super + penalty rates

Roster: Part-time | Approx. 24 hours per week

About The Role

Cater Care is seeking motivated Chef / Cold Larder team members to join our kitchen team at a newly established site in Walkerville.

This is a hands-on role in a modern, fast-paced kitchen environment, focused on delivering high-quality cold dishes as part of daily meal service. As the site continues to grow, there is opportunity for increased hours and long-term development within the team.

You will be responsible for preparing salads, sandwiches, snacks, and other cold larder items while supporting efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities


- Prepare and serve high-quality cold dishes, salads, sandwiches, and snacks
- Support kitchen operations and assist with meal service
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and equipment
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenishing items as required
- Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
- Contribute to a positive, professional team environment Skills and Experiences: Key Skills and Experience


- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Experience in food preparation, ideally in cold larder or similar chef roles
- Confident supporting kitchen operations during service periods
- Robust understanding of food safety and WHS requirements
- Reliable, flexible, and team-focused
