I’m a participant living with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease seeking a reliable, compassionate support worker who understands the importance of physical wellbeing, body awareness, and gentle hands-on support as part of daily care.

The role involves assisting with mobility, easing muscular tension, and supporting overall comfort and physical balance as symptoms fluctuate.

Preferred experience includes:
• Manual handling and safe movement support
• Understanding of muscle tension, stiffness, and body alignment
• Experience supporting people with neurological or movement conditions
• A calm, patient, and attentive approach to physical wellbeing
• Experience with soft-tissue release, stretching, or physical relaxation techniques
• Ability to support in a private and comfortable environment

Someone with a background in body-based therapies, rehabilitation, movement therapy, or similar hands-on disciplines would likely feel comfortable in this role.

Regular sessions preferred. Reliability and trust are important.
