After-School Nanny – Moorooka Start Date: May 2026 Indefinite / Long Term Role Pay: From $35 per hour for the right candidate Hours and Days 5 days per week:
- Monday to Friday: 2:55 pm – 7:00 pm Flexibility for a slightly later start in the afternoon if this suits the candidate better. An easy‑going and welcoming family in Moorooka, QLD is seeking a reliable and energetic nanny to care for their 5‑year‑old son. With both parents working, they are looking for someone they can trust to step in during the afternoons and become a valued part of their routine. The Role This is a hands‑on, active role focused on after‑school care and supporting a smooth afternoon and evening routine.
- School pick‑up
- Taking the child to the park or outdoor activities
- Supervising play and engaging in age‑appropriate activities
- Preparing simple meals / assisting with meal prep
- Supporting dinner and bath time routines
- Occasional transport to activities (e.g. AusKick on Fridays 5–6 pm, with potential for more in future) Household Duties
- Meal preparation
- Assisting with laundry

- 3+ years previous experience working with children
- Full Driver’s licence and (ideally) own vehicle
- Valid Blue Card
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable with animals – The family has a dog (Cavoodle)
