**About the role**

We are currently seeking a locum Social Work Team Leader (grade 3) for 2-3 months at a hospital based close to the Melbourne CBD.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Provide evidence based social work services across women’s health
- Support and guide a team of social workers
- Work within a multi-disciplinary clinical team
- Triage and process new referrals
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with patients and carers

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Collaborative and supportive leadership style
- Experience working with grief and loss, family violence, sexual assault, child protection an advantage
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent)
- Current AASW registration (essential)
- Australian working rights (essential)
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccinations
- Designated consultant to support you through the recruitment process
