Role Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to support the delivery of ourgrowing construction and engineering projects. The role involves assisting withinstallation, testing, and coordination of mechanical systems, ensuring projects arecompleted in accordance with specifications and timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and components
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support project delivery
- Monitor on-site mechanical works to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Support coordination of project activities between engineers, contractors, and site personnel
- Conduct basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors under direction
- Ensure adherence to relevant Australian standards and workplace safety requirements Requirements
- Bachelor level in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required
- Minimum 6+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with construction equipment systems is essential
- Experience in construction/engineering environments
- Minimum 5+ years of experience within construction or engineering environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong communication and coordination skills Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year Advantages:
