ICT Customer Support Officer (Melbourne)

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated ICT Customer Support Officer to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will provide technical support, education, and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of our computer infrastructure, and assist in the diagnosis and resolution of technical problems and issues. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
- Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems in a timely and professional manner
- Adapting existing programs to meet users' requirements
- Installing and downloading appropriate software and ensuring its correct configuration
- Ensuring the efficient use of applications and equipment across the organisation
- Implementing and supporting computer networks
- Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers, and modems
- Maintaining accurate records of issues raised and resolutions provided What You Will Bring
- An AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field; or at least three years of relevant work experience and/or relevant vendor certification in lieu of formal qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in ICT support or a similar technical role
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
