- Maintaining inventory to ensure that proper stock levels are managed to support build and repair activities.
- Physically receiving and issuing out of parts as needed for internal customers.
- Loading, unloading and transporting parts between different sites.
- Keeping accurate stock records for all items within our care through physical cycle counts.
- Maintaining safety, organization, and cleanliness of all workspaces using Amazon 7S principles. Travel
- The role may require the successful candidate to travel to other sites in the Melbourne metro area to assist in conducting cycle counts, receiving stock into the inventory control system, replenishing stock and returning defective stock. Travel between sites will require own transport, all travel related costs will be reimbursed. Physical / Environmental Demands

- Push or pull heavy objects of up to 16kg into position and participate in group lifts of 20kg or more.
- Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment.
- Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts.
- Work in an office and warehouse environment where the noise level is low to moderate. A day in the life The MEL Data Center Logistics team, part of AWS's DCESPS organization, supports infrastructure deployment across Melbourne's data center cluster. We manage the end-to-end logistics lifecycle — receiving, ingesting, inventory management, and cycle count accuracy — ensuring critical components are available to keep builds on track. Your day will be spent carrying out Logistical support functions for our Data Centers. This will involve physical control and processing of spare parts transactions, consumables stock replenishment, and cycle counting of stock. Basic Qualifications
- Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics. Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of logistics operations experience.
