About the role Latrobe Regional Health is looking forDietitian (Grade 1)to join our growing team on apart time (0.9EFT) ongoing basis. The Dietitian (Grade 1) provides high-quality, client-focused clinical dietetic services to patients at LRH. Working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the role supports optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition assessment, intervention and education. This early-career position contributes to safe and effective
service delivery, while participating in quality improvement, professional development and education activities within the Dietetics and Allied Health departments. Working Together | We will respond to challenges together to create a protected, quality health service Provide high-quality clinical dietetic care, including assessment, intervention and evaluation to support patient nutrition goals. Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings and collaborate within healthcare teams to deliver coordinated, person-centred care. Develop and deliver nutrition education resources and interventions, and review strategies to improve effectiveness and patient outcomes. Liaise with the Catering Department to ensure safe provision of therapeutic diets, including monitoring of patient meals and supplements. Maintain accurate patient records, activity data and documentation in line with organisational and professional standards. Contribute to quality improvement, research activities, staff education and student supervision within the dietetics service. About you A Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent) with eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australian and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Program. Robust clinical nutrition knowledge with the ability to apply this across a diverse patient caseload. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks efficiently and competently. A commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice. Previous clinical or hospital-based dietetics experience (desirable).
