Field Agent / Process Server – Melbourne

Sharman Group Pty Ltd is a long-established national provider of process serving, investigations, field services, and legal support solutions operating throughout Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking motivated and professional contractors based in Melbourne to undertake a range of field-based assignments on behalf of corporate, legal, banking, and government clients. The position will initially operate as an independent contractor arrangement with flexible work allocation and ongoing opportunities. Long-term employment may become available for the right applicant as our Victorian operations continue to expand. The Position

This role involves attending residential and commercial locations to complete a variety of field-based activities including:
- Service of legal and compliance documents
- Residential occupancy enquiries and verification activities
- Collection of detailed field intelligence and observations
- Preparation of professional written attendance reports
- Updating job progress through our secure online systems
- Liaising with our operations team regarding assignment outcomes
- Conducting field activities professionally, lawfully, and safely Work is varied, autonomous, and suited to someone who is organised, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in the field. About You

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent personal presentation and professionalism
- The ability to manage workloads and meet reporting deadlines
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Confidence engaging with members of the public
- Good judgement and problem-solving ability
- Sound computer and smartphone skills
- A current driver licence and reliable vehicle
