Telecommunications Linesworker (Melbourne)

Task National Group is a privately owned and operated Telecommunications and Broadcast specialist, providing services and turn key solutions to major providers within the telecommunications and broadcast industries.

We specialise in the designing, building and operating of social and business critical communication infrastructure throughout Australia, and are recognised for our technical excellence and delivery.

We are currently seeking experienced Transmission Lineworkers for on going maintenance and construction works.

We are looking for applicants for Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and Recent South Wales. There may be interstate travel required.

Your responsibilities will include: Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps. Climbing of transmission structures. Undertake maintenance inspections of electricity transmission networks in accordance with Client/Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements. Undertake minor ancillary works as required. Construction of towers Stringing of short sections

Essential: Construction White Card. Demonstrated ability to recognise and solve problems in the workplace. Willing to travel. Proven ability to work productively as part of a team, in a fast paced and changing workplace. Driver’s Licence Preferred but not essential, will provide training to the right applicants: Work at Heights Rescue. CPR trained. Rigging licence. Relevant state electrical licence. High risk work licence.

Rate of pay $40
- $45 per hour
