Role Overview

The Research Officer will coordinate and deliver a large pharmacological study exploring decision‑making and motivation in healthy young adults, working within the Cognitive Neurology Laboratory at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate study activities including participant screening, eligibility assessment, scheduling, and administration of behavioural tasks.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Ensure adherence to research protocols, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support broader laboratory projects.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience within cognitive neuroscience.

Demonstrated experience administering behavioural tasks and working on pharmacological studies involving human participants.

Robust organisational, communication and documentation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
