Role Description

This is a full time hybrid role for an Engineer Level Forensic/Diagnostic Facade/Structural Engineer. Based in Melbourne, VIC, the role involves a mix of in office work and the option to work from home for some tasks. The engineer will conduct structural and facade investigations, perform failure analysis, assist in developing repair and maintenance strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Hands‑on involvement with site assessments using techniques like industrial rope access will be a key part of this role. Collaboration with clients and the broader engineering team will be crucial to delivering thorough and reliable solutions.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Forensic Analysis and Forensic Engineering

Robust Analytical Skills and experience with Failure Analysis

Knowledge and application of Structural Engineering principles

Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate findings

Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail

Understanding of technical engineering criteria, industry codes, and standards

Experience in remedial engineering and rope access or working at heights qualifications is a plus

A degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering disciplines.
