Wine Waiter / Section Waiter (Melbourne)

We’re looking for motivated and **experienced hospitality professionals** to join our **tight-knit team at Vinesmith** — a **hybrid wine bar, cellar door, and French-inspired bistro** in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.

As a small, high-quality venue, we value individuals who are proactive, adaptable, and confident managing a full section independently. You’ll be an integral part of our guest experience, from warm welcomes and detailed order-taking to wine recommendations and efficient service.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Manage your own section during service
- Deliver warm, attentive, and professional guest experiences
- Take orders and run food and drinks efficiently
- Recommend wines and assist with wine service (training provided)
- Support colleagues with bar, floor, and polishing/reset duties
- Maintain cleanliness and uphold venue standards

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in a fast-paced or high-standard venue
- Wine knowledge (WSET, CMS, CSW certifications appreciated)
- Strong communication and time management
- A genuine interest in modern French cuisine
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Team player with initiative and reliability
- Valid RSA required
