We are seeking multiple part-time/casual **Customer Service & Admin Support Assistants** to join our dynamic team. As part of our commitment to excellence in eyecare, we’re looking for people with bright and bubbly personalities, who are motivated, efficient, and ready to help us provide a seamless patient experience.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- Answer incoming phone calls and book appointments with professionalism and warmth.
- Accurately manage and update patient files as required.
- Triage patient emergencies.
- Conduct patient recalls to ensure ongoing eyecare needs are met.
- Submit claims and process payments for Medicare and other bulk billing accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Enter stock purchases into the inventory system.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- ** Experience**: Previous experience in customer service or administrative support (experience in an optometry practice is highly desirable but not essential).
- ** Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication, organisation, and prioritisation abilities with excellent time management.
- ** Tech-Savviness**: Competence in using Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, Microsoft Office, and SUNIX optometry software (training provided for specific systems).
- ** Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy in data entry and managing patient information.
- ** Reliability**: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and productively in a remote setting.
