About The Role (your Why) The Learning and Organisational Development team is passionate about empowering our people to grow, learn, and do their best work. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and impactful learning content that enhances capability, promotes continuous development, and drives business performance across the organisation. You will collaborate with the Manager – ANZ Learning and Organisational Development and a cross‑functional team to design and produce modern learning resources that enable employees to succeed, stay safe, and thrive in their roles. Please note this is a 6‑month fixed term opportunity. Our offices are based in Australia. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! What You’ll Do
- Designing and developing multimedia learning content including e‑learning courses, videos, animations, infographics, and interactive learning elements.
- Applying instructional design principles to create effective, engaging, and goal‑oriented learning experiences.
- Managing multiple learning projects simultaneously to ensure high‑quality deliverables and timely completion.
- Communicating and promoting learning and development initiatives across the organisation.
- Conducting user testing and leveraging feedback to improve learning materials continuously.
- Staying current with emerging trends and technologies in multimedia design and e‑learning.
- Actively contributing to ongoing improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Ensuring personal and team compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities in line with Datacom policy. What You’ll Bring Required experience:
- 2+ years of experience in corporate training and learning design.
- Hands‑on experience in e‑learning design, video creation, and content curation.
- Understanding of learning systems and LMS administration.
- Proficiency with multimedia software and e‑learning authoring tools (such as Articulate Suite).
- Strong grasp of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication, writing, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, IT, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Nice to have:
- Adult learning qualifications.
- Professional coaching or training certifications.
- Experience analysing learning data to measure effectiveness of programs.
