About the Role This full-time position is perfect for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with protocols.
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging using PET, SPECT, and gamma cameras.
- Position patients and explain procedures clearly and compassionately.
- Monitor patients for reactions and ensure radiation safety standards are met.
- Process and analyse images for diagnostic quality.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance programs. What You’ll Bring
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and nuclear medicine imaging principles.
- Proficiency in the safe handling, preparation, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Experience with PET, SPECT, CT, and gamma camera systems.
- Ability to analyse image quality and adjust procedures accordingly.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with imaging equipment and safety systems.
- Commitment to maintaining accuracy in documentation and patient records.
- Explicit and compassionate communication with patients, including those who are anxious or vulnerable.
