Overview

We are seeking a qualified Boilermaker who takes pride in clean structural steel work, can read plans properly, and work independently. This role is based in Melbourne CBD and involves night shifts and weekends with overtime penalties and site allowances as required. Please note this role is non-EBA and non-union.

OT Allowances and Rates; Qualified Boilermaker Required.

About the Role

You will be working across structural steel projects in live commercial environments where safety, workmanship, and reliability matter.

Heavy structural steel fabrication and installation

Fluxcore and MIG welding

Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and site plans

Steel assembly, fit up and tack welding

Grinding and preparation

Working safely around other trades on active sites

Maintaining high weld quality standards

Following all site safety procedures and compliance requirements

What We’re Looking For

Trade qualified Boilermaker

Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings

Able to work independently and manage your own tasks

Solid attention to detail

Solid reliability

Safety focused on live sites

Skilled attitude on site

Compliance & Requirements

Relevant trade qualification

White Card

Full working rights in Australia

Full PPE

Ability to work night shifts and weekends

Able to pass weld testing if required
