This is a post‐production‐first role for someone whose craft is in the edit suite, and who can also hold their own behind a camera when needed. The Role The Video Editor / Videographer will be responsible for end‐to‐end video production across client projects, working closely with the creative and account teams from brief through to final delivery. You'll lead the edit process, contribute to shoot planning and execution, and ensure every piece of content meets the high standard our clients expect. Key Responsibilities Lead the post‐production process from rough cut through to final delivery, including colour grading and audio mixing Adapt edits across multiple formats and aspect ratios for various platforms (social, broadcast, digital) Shoot and edit video content across social content, brand campaigns, and live events Operate camera, audio, and lighting equipment on location and in studio Collaborate with the creative team to interpret briefs and translate them into compelling visual content Manage and organise project files, footage, and assets with precision Contribute creative ideas during pre‐production and concept development Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality Stay across emerging content trends, formats, and platform requirements Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years experience in a video editing role, ideally within an agency or production environment Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects Proven camera operating skills across a range of shooting scenarios, interviews, events, run‐and‐gun, and studio Solid understanding of lighting, audio capture, and on‐location production Experience in colour grading and audio mixing for final delivery Strong storytelling instincts with a keen eye for composition, pacing, and detail Ability to move quick across multiple projects without losing attention to detail or quality A portfolio demonstrating range across social content, brand campaigns, and live events Experience on social‐first campaigns for consumer or lifestyle brands Experience optimising content for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Motion graphics capability within After Effects or similar Familiarity with live event or sports production Photography skills and an eye for stills across campaign and event contexts Graphic design capability, whether in Adobe Creative Suite or similar What We Offer The opportunity to work on high‐profile campaigns for leading Australian and global brands A collaborative, creative environment where your ideas and craft are valued Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience Flexible working arrangements We appreciate all applications; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. #J-*****-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3qr37p
