- Temp to perm opportunities About the Role: Our client in Clayton is currently seeking an experienced Production Operator / Machine Setter to join their team. This is a hands-on role operating and setting a range of production machinery used in the manufacture of wire thread insert fastening systems . You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and be part of a friendly, high-performing production team. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery in line with SOPs Prepare tooling (mandrels, cutters) using hand tools and bench-top equipment Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting Ensure all safety and quality standards are met Maintain a clean and safe work environment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to set machinery within tight tolerances Basic computer skills and high attention to detail Proactive, reliable, and punctual with solid work ethic Valuable communication and interpersonal skills Certificate III in Process Manufacturing (highly desirable) Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident Charles Lee Delivery Consultant
