**The Opportunity**: We have an opportunity in our Brand, Marketing & Communications team for an experienced Events Manager to join our team in Melbourne on a permanent, full time basis.
The role will manage the busy Melbourne client events calendar
- advising practice groups, industry partners and BD on the planning of their upcoming events schedule, identifying event opportunities that align with our guiding principles, and operational end to end event management of our client events calendar including signature events, strategic client events, webinars and whole of office staff events held onsite in the Melbourne office and at external venues, and will also include at times managing events throughout Australia.

**About You**: To be successful in this role you will have knowledge and experience with the following:
- Minimum 4+ years' events experience ideally in professional services or large corporate environments
- Experience in managing and delivering multiple and concurrent events from end to end including budget, stakeholder and supplier management
- An understanding of the process of managing webinars, virtual events and hybrid events
- Project management skills, with the ability to define and link activities, responsibilities and deadlines
- Knowledge of core process of event management and information sources, suppliers and venues suitable for Ashurst events
- Strong administrative background including CRM contact management and customer service. Knowledge of CRM software, in particular previous InterAction experience will be advantageous
- Ability to influence stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes
- Maintain composure and a high level of personal presentation and polish during event delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative flair for event design and concepts
