About the role Ryman Healthcare's beautiful Bert Newton Retirement Village in Highett has an exciting chance for a personable and knowledgeable Aged Care Admissions Officer to join our growing team. This varied role requires extensive experience in Aged Care as you will support potential residents and their families to ensure they are well informed and have a clear understanding regarding financial requirements for Aged Care. You will also support with the completion of financial paperwork, offering ongoing support and resolution to any financial queries and maintaining positive relationships with all residents, relatives, staff and visitors to the village. This is a Part Time position working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday ********* . About you To be successful in our dynamic and fast paced environment you will:
- Have previous proven experience in Aged Care financials. You'll have to be a whiz at breaking down aged care jargon.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle conflicting priorities.
- Strong empathy with elderly and their families.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accurate documentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Confident computer skills with concise documentation.
