Join our team at the beautiful Scape Eatery, where we prioritise both excellence in food service and your well‑being. As a Casual Chef de Partie, you will report directly to our Head Chef and collaborate with the talented Eatery Team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and delectable food to our student residents. Your role will be crucial in upholding our high food standards, ensuring impeccable food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques, all in line with our established recipes and expectations. This role operates on a 7‑day rotating roster, which means weekend work is a regular part of the role as we support our resident community every day of the week. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are seeking an approachable and confident self‑starter who is passionate about delivering consistent customer service and can be flexible to work alongside a growing business.
- Minimum of 3 years previous kitchen experience
- Experience within a buffet style environment is desired but not essential
- General knowledge of international cuisines
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
