- 3 days office, 2 days WFH JobNumber: 3211 Hey you! We’re seeking a creative and experienced Instructional Designer to join our Learning Design & Experience Team at genU Training. In this hands‑on role, you’ll design, develop and review engaging learning and assessment materials across accredited and non‑accredited offerings, including short courses and micro‑credentials. Working closely with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders, you’ll help ensure learning resources align with our learning strategy and deliver positive, real‑world outcomes for learners. genU Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering job‑ready, nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses that genuinely make a difference for students. We’re focused on high‑quality, innovative learning experiences that support strong employment outcomes. What you’ll do
- Design, develop and review learning and assessment materials across a range of VET training products
- Create content for accredited and non‑accredited programs, including short courses and micro‑credentials
- Apply continuous improvement principles and collaborate with industry subject matter experts
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing creative and learner‑centred solutions
- Manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines with confidence What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as an Instructional Designer within an RTO or VET workplace
- A collaborative, team‑focused approach with solid stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence in making sound instructional design decisions and applying good judgement
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Experience using eLearning authoring tools, Learning Management Systems and MS Office
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and VET frameworks (TAE40122 or equivalent highly regarded (You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
