Description
We currently have an exciting chance for an International Relations Officer to join our dynamic Global Relations team at Swinburne University. The team works across Swinburne to ensure the effective integration of the University’s global programs and international relations.

As the International Relations Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the operational and administrative functions for Swinburne’s international relations activities. This position supports the Global Relations Manager with the hosting of inbound and outbound delegations to and from the University, including the coordination of itineraries and programs.

In support of the day-to-day operations of the Global Relations team, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to advance Swinburne’s global programs, while contributing to its reputation.

**About You** To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Demonstrated experience in office administration preferably in an education environment, including experience in interpreting and implementing organisational policies and procedures.
- High-level organisational and time management skills including the ability to plan and organise own work, coordinate a number of projects simultaneously, and meet tight timelines and quality standards.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to professionally draft presentations, correspondence, and internal briefing papers.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, oral communication and public relations skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external clients at all levels.
- Experience working in international education in Australia and broad knowledge of the Australian educational systems and frameworks is preferred.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and substantial subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
