About the role This fast-paced Security Operations Centre Operator role sits within a large team within the Melbourne CBD, within a state-of-the art monitoring centre in a modern corporate office with fantastic views over the city, and a large desk for you to work from. In this position you will provide control room monitoring and call centre duties to assist with our corporate client's security needs, ensuring that you are adhering to our client's KPIs. Communication skills are essential in the role, as most of your day will be spent on the phone as part of the security helpdesk function, speaking to our client's staff, with individuals at all levels of their organisation. Duties in the role will include:

- Assisting with the telephone call centre helpdesk function for our corporate client's internal security phone lines and emergency line, speaking to staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Answering calls from NAB employees requiring assistance with situations that need to be responded to very quickly.
- Remote incident response and coordination, for instance, liaising with internal and external staff regarding security matters, including emergency calls to triple zero and police.
- Monitoring ATM points and after hour alarms for the branches.
- Security service bookings and dispatch of guards, roving patrol teams, and technicians, as well as coordinating with our client's contractors.
- Completing accurate and detailed incident reports in our client's database.
- CCTV and alarm monitoring, as well as use of building management systems.
- Use of standard computer systems such as the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook and Microsoft Word.

- Part-time role pay rates are $27.41 (weekdays) $33.35 (nights) $41.12 (Sat) $54.81 (Sun) + Super + accrued leave entitlements

A few requirements
- Victorian Security Licence
- Certificate II or III in Security Operations
- Experience dealing with a high volume of inbound calls, of different levels of urgency
- Experience in a control room or monitoring centre environment, managing multiple sites and alarms
