Join Tesla Energy Project Engineering to develop software tools that accelerate utility‑scale Battery Energy Storage Systems deployment.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
Lead the development of current software tools to support Project Engineering, SCADA Engineering, and Hardware in the Loop testing.
Administer and maintain the codebase of existing tools.
Enforce best practices ensuring code is maintainable and well‑documented.
Develop tools such as automatic power quality meter data downloaders, energetic power system model overlay tools, HiL test automations, BESS project‑specific HMI/GUI acceptance test automation, reporting tools (web dashboards), and business system and engineering workflow automation tools interacting with APIs and databases.
Work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting, proactively identifying and building software tools to improve processes.
About You
The company is looking for:
Degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering (recent graduates preferred).
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Problem‑solving ability and extreme proactivity.
Knowledge of programming best practices.
Proficiency with GitHub.
Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
