They offer a collaborative and qualified working environment.Job DescriptionMaintain the general ledger for assigned funds, including journals, accruals, and reconciliationsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP)Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) and ensure timely and accurate investor reportingPerform portfolio valuations, including review of pricing and investment positionsReconcile cash, investments, and capital activity (subscriptions, redemptions, distributions)Liaise with external stakeholders including fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and tax advisorsSupport the audit process, including preparation of supporting documentation and responding to auditor queriesMonitor compliance with fund mandates, regulatory requirements, and internal controlsAssist with process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiativesProvide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to internal stakeholdersThe Successful ApplicantMandatory: Prior experience in fund accounting (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, real estate, or managed funds)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplineCA / CPA qualification (or working towards) preferredStrong understanding of fund structures, capital flows, and investment instrumentsExperience preparing NAV calculations and investor reportingKnowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAPAdvanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Yardi, Geneva, or similar) highly regardedHigh attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesWhat's on OfferExposure to a diverse portfolio of investment strategiesCollaborative and high-performing team environmentClear career progression and development opportunitiesCompetitive salary and advantages
