Associate/Engagement Manager – Financial Services We are shaping the future of the financial services industry by helping world‑class institutions address their most significant issues, leveraging deep specialization and rigorous, fact‑based analysis across all segments of the sector. Our team is seeking extraordinary individuals with deep expertise to support our expansion in the financial services industry and to join either our Sydney or Melbourne office. What You Will Do You will break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identifying key aspects and directing junior consultants to focus on those elements. You will plan and execute analysis, identify core issues to craft suitable recommendations, and work side‑by‑side with clients and your project team to move projects forward and manage small teams. What You Will Bring Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- At least 4‑8 years of relevant financial‑services experience, ideally with a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organisation) or from a strategy department or in‑house consulting.
- In‑depth sector knowledge, gained through industry experience or other consultancy houses.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, able to conduct and leverage sophisticated analyses to identify trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
- Willingness to travel.
- Initiative, a continuous desire to learn new skills and apply them.
- Creativity, ready to generate novel ideas to solve clients’ biggest problems.
