International Administrative Officer Commencing Salary
- $64,683 p.a. plus 12% super plus annual leave loading Full Time – 38 hours per week Position Status: Fixed-term contract for 2 years About Us: William Angliss Institute is known as the specialist training provider for the foods, tourism, hospitality, events and hotel management industries, delivering a range of vocational and higher education courses within Australia and internationally. About the Role: An exciting prospect exists for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join the International team to provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the International office. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone to clients of the International office and will process documents for prospective and current international students from initial enquiry through to completion of the admission process. This is a client-facing role and the successful applicant will be expected to work onsite on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide reception, administrative and customer service support to the International Office.
- Support international student admissions and administration processes, including enquiries, applications, enrolments, re-enrolments, OSHC arrangements, fee payments and orientation programs.
- Maintain accurate student records and undertake general administrative duties, including data entry, invoicing, meeting coordination and document management.
- Arrange accommodation, airport reception and other support services for international students.
- Liaise with prospective and current international students, education agents and other stakeholders, providing timely advice and assistance.
- Assist with study tours, orientation programs, marketing activities, exhibitions and other international events.
- Provide other administrative and financial support across the International Office. Key Selection Criteria: Note: Only applicants that address the key selection criteria will be considered for this role:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma (ideally in Administration) or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with international students, including the ability to provide effective administrative and customer service support in a multicultural environment, is highly desirable.
- Substantial experience in a similar administration role involving the coordination of a range of functions.
- Outstanding customer service skills and excellent telephone manner and the ability to respond to client needs.
- Demonstrated exceptional communication & interpersonal skills with particular appreciation for cross-cultural awareness.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work in a busy environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft suite of packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in student management systems such as SMS is highly desirable.
